Department for Gastroenterology and Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnostics

 

The department possesses an ultra modern equipment for gastroenterological ultrasound diagnostics — 3D Ultrasound device made by Toshiba type AplioHB with a color Doppler, power Doppler and a dynamic flow.

Daily the following gastroenterological procedures are done:

Non-invasive procedures:

· Specialistic gastroenterological examinations

· Echo tomography of abdomen organs (liver, gallbladder and gall canals, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, abdominal aorta, para-aortic region and diagnosis of appendicitis)

· Color Doppler Echo-tomography of abdominal vascular structures

Invasive diagnostics and therapeutic procedures:

· Thin needle biopsy of abdominal organs leaded by ultrasound for pato-histological diagnosis of illnesses and TM mutations

· Percutaneous drainage procedures by ultrasound: ascites fluid, suppurative collections,  pancreatic pseudo-cysts

· Percutaneous biliary drainage leaded by ultrasound

Department for Cardiology

The department is equipped with an ultra modern equipment for a complete non-invasive cardio diagnostics: the newest ECG device, the newest 3D ultrasound device made by Toshiba type Ksario with color Doppler, power Doppler and dynamic flow, coronary stress test, 24 hours ECG monitoring by Holter, 24 hours ABP monitoring.

Daily the following cardio procedures are done:

· Specialistic cardio examinations for precision cardiovascular estimation

· Echo cardio-graphic heart examination with evaluation of heart structures and Doppler estimation

· Coronary stress test for diagnostic of a coronary arterial illness

· 24 hours ECG monitoring for evaluation and monitoring of a heart arrhythmia

· 24 hours ABP monitoring for evaluation and monitoring of a hyper-tensional illness
